第二屆亞洲人居環境國際峰會
會議背景

    隨著經濟全球化和城市化的進一步發展，各個國家和地區之間的影響和聯繫日益緊密。人類所面臨的一些重要問題，例如人口爆炸、生態環境的惡化、地區差異加大和城市人口的兩極化等，使得世界人民的命運更加密切地結合在一起。人們日益認識到，只有構築全球化的生態、經濟、文化與社會的體系，人類才能擁有可持續發展的未來生存空間。
    亞洲是地球上最大的洲，聚居著世界近60％的人口，歷史淵源流長，文化博大精深，自然資源十分豐富。亞洲人居環境建設關乎世界人居環境建設全局，亞洲人居環境問題的解決將是對世界人居環境發展的有力推動。近幾十年來，雖然亞洲各國政府和相關組織在解決住房和人居環境方面做了大量的工作，在人居環境建設取得了豐碩的成果。但人居環境問題還遠未解決，地區之間發展不平衡，部分地區經濟發展迅速的同時卻忽略了環境建設，廣大發展中國家在人居環境問題上依然面臨嚴峻形勢。有識之士紛紛指出，加強區域合作將是解決人居環境問題的重要途徑。同時，不同地區和不同民族之間的差異化也要求人居環境建設“著眼於全球思考，立足於地區行動”。
    2004年11月8日，由亞洲人居環境協會發起並主辦的“首屆亞洲人居環境國際峰會暨亞洲人居環境協會年會”在香港召開，會議在聯合國人居署、聯合國亞太經社理事會、聯合國開發計劃署及部分亞洲區域相關機構的大力支持下，取得了圓滿成功。會議本著“國際合作及亞洲區域合作是解決人居問題的重要途徑”的會議精神，共同討論世界尤其是亞洲人居環境領域中存在的熱點問題，交流研究成果，增進亞洲各國及城市之間的瞭解和溝通，探討人居環境在亞洲的發展之路，爲推動亞洲人居環境事業健康可持續發展起到了積極作用並産生了廣泛的國際影響。
    2006年4月25日，第二屆亞洲人居環境國際峰會即將召開，將廣邀來自亞洲人居環境相關領域的專家、地産行業領袖和業界精英，以主題論壇、實地考察、商業模式實戰分析、投資經營商業洽談與論壇等多種交流形式，就亞洲人居環境建設中高密度、高節能與高舒適度的協調發展問題進行更深入的探討和交流。

In order to drive the healthy and rapid development of Asian urbanization, strengthen experiences sharing on sustainable development strategies of Asian human habitats and hunt after the developing direction of Asian urbanization and based on 2004 the First International Summit on Asian Habitat successfully held on Nov 8th 2004 in Hong Kong, we plan to hold The 2nd International Summit on Asian Habitat in Fukuoka Japan from April 2006 upon invitation of Fukuoka city Government.

As another grand meeting on Asian habitat, this activity is authoritative, integrative and practical and is greatly supported by UN-HABITAT, NUDP, UN ESCAP and other relevant international organizations of Asia. Meanwhile, the Co-sponsors including China Real Estate & Housing Research Association-Council of Human Settlements, China Association of Policy Science-Council of Public Policy and Human Settlement Fund of CEPF all give their active cooperation to this activity. Centering on Compact City and Saving Society, many professors, scholars and outstanding persons on Asian habitat construction in this summit will make some in-depth and extensive discussion on Chinese and other Asian countries’ industrial structure, development ideas and city planning and status quo and development problems of Asian Habitat in order to drive the Asian urbanizing progress and capital opening, urge regional cooperation and promote the sustainable development of Asian habitat environment construction.

Main content of this activity includes General Conference of Asian Habitat, Asian Habitat Environment Construction Seminar, Awarding Ceremony of International Designing Competition on Asian City Housing and Environment, Asian Architectural Culture Salon, Advanced Experience Sharing Conference of Fukuoka Japan Habitat Environment Construction and some specialized surveys. On the occasion, we will invite some principals of competent departments of government to issue and explain relevant supporting policies, enforcement regulations and concrete business cooperation on investment and financing. Meanwhile, we will also invite some UN officials and professors and officials from tens Asian countries to widely and practically discuss the extensive space and great commercial opportunities provide for Asian real estate industry by Asian urbanization and habitat environment construction from multi-levels and different point of view and do negotiations on investment project and industrial exchange.
